Welcome to Gwen and Michel's house.
Welcome to our home! We are a family that thrives on adventure, culture, and culinary delights. My husband, an international chef, brings flavors from around the world to our kitchen, while I share my passion for teaching and cultural exchange. We have traveled extensively, embracing the outdoors and meeting fascinating people along the way.
What motivates me to teach and host is my deep interest in culture and my love for sharing it with others. Teaching my language is not just a profession; it's a passion that fills me with joy. It is incredibly rewarding to help others understand not only my language but also a new way of communicating that can open doors for them globally. I approach this with humility and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Helping local public school teachers pass their exams to become English teachers in Taiwan was my biggest accomplishments. I am also a specialist in helping students with their IELTS. The proud feeling I get to see the satisfaction on students' faces, knowing they have finally made it never goes away.

One of our rooms has two comfortable twin beds in a large room. We accept children from 14 years old.
Imagine waking up to the aroma of freshly baked bread and the sight of a beautifully laid-out continental breakfast. Our mornings start with a delightful spread of fresh pastries, fruits, and local delicacies, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.
As the sun rises higher, guests can take a refreshing dip in our pool, especially during the warm spring and summer months. After a rejuvenating swim, we dive into an engaging hour of English lessons, tailored to your needs and interests.
Once the lesson wraps up, it's time to explore the stunning surroundings. We provide bikes for a leisurely ride through picturesque landscapes, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the area at your own pace.
Upon returning, a light snack and a refreshing drink await you. If you're keen on more learning, we offer a second English class in the afternoon, ensuring you get the most out of your stay.
As the day winds down, we gather for a homemade dinner at 7 PM, crafted with love and served either indoors or under the stars. Post-dinner, the fun continues with a movie night or a friendly game of board games. During the summer, we also enjoy table tennis or a game of pétanque, adding a touch of local flavor to your experience.
And for those who can't get enough of the water, the pool remains open for a late-night swim, making every day a blend of relaxation, learning, and unforgettable moments.
