Our family home is located in the suburbs close to Niagara Falls. Convenient for riding bikes, and nature walks.
A stay in our home would consist of language classes daily, and spending time outdoors doing many things the area has to offer.
This includes festivals, boating, music, and many cultural activities.
If you want a true American cultural experience that’s not seen on TV this is the place for you.
Added bonus is we are right by the Canadian border and spend a lot of time in Canada. We love Toronto (90 mins from us) it’s the NYC of the north.
I have been an ESL and cultural trainer for over 20 years and have hosted many students and managed a few exchange programs. Augustus is a medical provider with a long military career. We are passionate about cultural exchange and have traveled all over the world as locals, not tourists. We also own a home in Spain where we share our time.

We have 2 homes and will provide you a room in one of them. Before arriving you will know where you will be staying. This provides you a balance of privacy and being on your own yet support of a host family as we will be together each day for language lessons, activities, and meals. We provide most meals except for the times we all choose to go for an experience and eat out.
A typical day would start with breakfast, some language classes, then an outing to explore our area or attend one of the many events or perhaps going boating, or bike riding. Meals will be a mix of barbecues, home cooked meals or enjoyed at one of many water front restaurants that feature our area’s popular food.
Evenings are very relaxed to enjoy the garden or a night out if you choose.
There will be a mix of time on your own and together for a perfect harmony.
