Welcome to Luqmania family home
Welcome to my family, we would love to welcome you to stay with us and experience family life like in the UK.
My daughter is studying to become a dentist and my son is a computer programmer. As a family, we are passionate about respect and inclusion; we believe in talking about our problems and concerns and helping each other with possible resolutions.
If hosting more than one student, I try to make sure they are from different countries so the only language in common is English.
Greetings, we offer 2 double and a single bedroom's, furnished with a shared bathroom. And 2 toilets.
We have 2 kitchens as I’m a keen cook and like to use one for baking. You’re more than welcome to use either kitchen.
I offer lots of great meals / English/Asian/Italian etc. and lots of English conversation.
We want our students to be part of our family completely, feel free to watch television with us, come with us when we go out shopping, come with us, meet our family members, that is how our students are treated...the one thing we ask is that you try your best to speak English all the time you are in my home.
Our day generally starts with a walk in the park across the road with Teddy (our dog).
We have breakfast as a family depending on your commitments for the day.
During the weekend we either go out for the day exploring or visiting family. Weekdays I encourage everyone to get involved in cooking as a family but it’s fine if you just want to watch me and keep me company as I am a keen cook and love baking.
Weekdays we may go to the cinema or play badminton at our local sports centre. I promote a healthy lifestyle and mental wellbeing as my profession is personal training.
