Welcome to Nadeeka warm and friendly Homestay
We are a family of five. My husband works for NYS Government as a programmer. I am a homemaker. I have three kids, two girls and a boy. Since all kids are off in college, we basically work from 8-5. Our house is a very warm welcoming home. We love outdoor activities such as camping and my kids are music lovers. We have a piano, guitar, and a drum set at home. We live in an upper middle class very safe neighborhood in Queens.
We have one of the best public transportation systems with very good bus service literally 200 feet from the home which takes you directly to the subway. Please emphasize that it's a very safe residential neighborhood.
Nadeeka and her family were truly amazing. They took care of me as just like a member of family. It’s not only the time while I was staying, we still keep in close touch with each other. When I stayed at her place, I didn’t know anything about the U.S because this was the first stay for me as an international student in the U.S. They taught me literally everything, such as how to take a bus, open a bank account, help me to speak English etc... They always try to help or support me whatever I need. I was very comfortable to stay with them and I strongly recommend them to students from over the world.
