We are a Christian family and at the student request, we can take the student to visit a local church. This is free of charge. We have Methodist, Pentecostal, Anglican, Catholic churches, all within 7 min walking distance.
Also, we have a beautiful Sikh Temple nearby. Beautiful lakes, park and river Darenth are nearby to visit. This is the area where Mick Jagger has grown up as a child.
All main shops nearby, if the student wants to do some food shopping and cook some meals.
High Street within 5min walking distance, with McDonald's, KFC, kebab shops, Chinese, Thai, Sushi, and Indian restaurants and take away.
Also, included in the price is laundering the clothes, however ironing is not provided.
Pick up by taxi from any of the London airports can be arranged, and the price depends on the location of the airport used.
Pick up from the local train station is free of charge and is only 7 min walking distance.
Our home is a typical English home, with a secluded garden. Covered bench for relaxation, or the corner with a table for reading or for doing homework.
I have to mention that we don't have a TV in the house, as we believe in spending quality time as a family, is more important than watching TV
We are welcoming the student into our home and to be part of our lifestyle.
We have one single room available plus a double room. We can accommodate a maximum of 3 students at any time.
