Welcome to Richard and Mary's House
We are a lively, busy, and kind-hearted family of three. We also have four older children who have grown up and live away from home. My husband, Richard, is a Sales Representative, and I am a homemaker. Our 16-year-old son, Cody, is actively involved in sports like hurling and soccer, and he plays hurling at the county level.
As a host family, we offer a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring a safe and caring environment where an international student can feel happy and included as part of our family. Our household is cheerful and relaxed, with a diverse range of interests. We look forward to sharing our home with you and providing an authentic experience of Irish hospitality.
During the week, our routine starts with breakfast before I drive you to school, where you'll have a packed lunch.
After school, you'll have a snack, do your homework, and then we have dinner.
In the evenings, we enjoy activities like taking walks, going to hurling matches, and playing table tennis, board games and cards.
On weekends, our schedule is more flexible. We start with breakfast, followed by some shopping and lunch. In the afternoons, we might attend a local sports event or play matches. Evenings are typically spent unwinding with our children's friends, having dinner together, watching TV, and relaxing.
