Welcome to Helen
I live in Cheltenham now, teaching English language online to a wide variety of students. I have lived overseas for over 30 years, as well as in Manchester and now here in the beautiful Cotswolds. I have three adult children and two grandchildren, although I live alone.
Cheltenham is a beautiful spa town, called "Regency" Cheltenham, right on the edge of beautiful Cotswold countryside. Oxford is only an hour away, as is Bath and Bristol - to name a few. Cheltenham hosts many festivals (Music, Literature) as well as being home to the iconic racecourse! Activities can be many and varied, from exploring our beautiful countryside to visiting beautiful museums, castles, as well as walking in our beautiful countryside. Helen has been teaching English language for over 26 years, to all ages and abilities. Courses can focus on a specific profession (Business English) and Helen is qualified and holds a full enhanced DBS for safeguarding of young people.
I love to go walking and hiking in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. I also love to visit old churches, castles, museums and music concerts. I really enjoy gathering beautiful things on my walks. I love to sing in 2 choirs.
I had an enjoyable stay at Helen's home. She is very dedicated and takes excellent care of her guests. She loves showing her beautiful region : old villages, walks in the countryside, and visit to Oxford. She is a very good English teacher. We had many conversations, and I got to meet her lovely friends, which is great for practicing English. I highly recommend her.
Eloi spent a very nice stay at Helen's home; she provided him intensive English lessons to prepare for his oral exams. Also Helen showed him around and made him appreciate her beautiful region.
Helen est une personne formidable qui s’occupe merveilleusement bien de ses hôtes. Elle vous fera visiter sa belle région, avec d’anciens villages, des ballades dans la campagne et des excursions intéressantes comme Oxford. Elle sait s’adapter à tout type de niveau d’anglais pour vous faire progresser. Je recommande aussi bien pour des adultes que pour des plus jeunes !
