Welcome to Paul's home
I am a computer network engineer and have worked in the electronic telecom repair industry all my career. Finding gadgets is now my hobby.
I have two daughters, both of whom live away from home; one is still at university. My home is on the outskirts of London.
The train station is a 20-minute bus ride for connections into central London. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.
Open parklands are close by, the supermarket is a 15-minute walk, and the shopping mall is a 25-minute bus ride away.
I have experience hosting students from France, the Netherlands, and China.
I enjoy football and am still playing at my age 🫣.
I am flexible regarding food, trips, and lessons.
2 Bedrooms available
A Double, or Twin and single bed room
Private bathroom for guest,
Use of the Kitchen and Living room & TV, Rear garden
I work from home a few days a week and other days I travel in the morning to the office. I am flexible with breakfast and dinner times.
When we welcome young guests, normally around 18 years of age, we start by showing them around the house and their room, of course.
We tell them the set up and times of breakfast, and dinner.
We are always ready to answer any questions they ask, whether it is on their first day or through their entire stay.
Some students may wish to go on a tour to visit other towns with us as a family or on their own, and for that, we can make some arrangements.
They can, of course, travel around on their own, as an over 18-year-old, and we can give them instructions on how and where they can get transport to places they want to visit.
Adult guests over 20 years and over are also welcome to stay in our house.
