Welcome to Málaga at Pascale's house
I can accommodate my guests for a French or Spanish immersion.
My 2 daughters are in Paris, one is working while the other one is continuing her studies.
The youngest member of the family has 4 paws, is 1 year old, and has all the energy of a sheepdog.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms, a terrace, garden, and a pool. The guest will have a bedroom, a private bathroom, and toilet. The residence has a very family-friendly atmosphere where many children of all ages live. They form the dog's pet sitter battalion, and in groups of age and affinity, they come to play and walk the dog. This friendly environment is stimulating for learning the language! The (Olympic size!) pool and social club ensure joyful moments of sharing... In Spanish. The pool is open from May to October and is supervised by a lifeguard.
My part-time job allows me to have availability to share the love of my region with my guests. For 10 years on the Costa del Sol, I have had the opportunity to discover my region from different perspectives: touristy, cultural, sports, and leisure.
Malaga is full of activities. I would be delighted to help you organize your visits and excursions according to your taste (Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Ronda, Caminito del Rey, Torcal...). On Sundays, many visits can be free, such as the fortress and the Alcazaba, the historic botanical garden, as well as certain museums.
I am 100% available to answer your questions and organize a tailor-made stay.
Kind regards.
I only accommodate one guest at a time.
Museum tickets or paid activities are the responsibility of the host.
Language courses at the Institute are optional and incur an additional fee.
Supplement per additional person sharing the room is 30 euros per day
Discover the Magic of Semana Santa in Malaga
Semana Santa in Malaga is much more than just a religious celebration; it's an unforgettable sensory experience that transports you to the heart of Andalusian traditions. Imagine strolling through the cobbled streets of this beautiful city, where the air is filled with the scents of flowers, incense, and oranges growing in sunny gardens.
From Palm Sunday, Malaga comes alive with spectacular processions that unfold centuries of history and culture. The majestic pasos, these religious statues carried by "costaleros," are surrounded by penitents in traditional garments, creating an atmosphere that is both solemn and beautiful. The vibrant colors of the costumes, the songs of the choirs, and the sound of drums reverberate in every alley, immersing you in an almost mystical ambiance.
Don't miss out on tasting the culinary specialties of the region, like "pescaitos fritos" or "tortillas de bacalao," which will awaken your taste buds. The lively terraces of bars and restaurants are the perfect spot to savor a glass of sweet Malaga wine while watching the spectacle unfold before you.
Semana Santa is also an opportunity to discover the rich history of Malaga: visit the cathedral, wander through the historic quarter, and admire the Alcazaba, a fortified palace with Moorish influences. Every corner of the street tells a story, and each church reveals a work of art.
For those looking to fully immerse themselves in Andalusian culture, participate in flamenco workshops or attend a show in a traditional tablao. The passion and energy of this iconic dance will captivate you and leave you with unforgettable memories.
In short, spending Semana Santa in Malaga means experiencing an authentic, vibrant, and emotional celebration. Whether you are an art lover, a history enthusiast, or simply seeking a moment of sharing and conviviality, Malaga awaits you with open arms for an unforgettable experience. Come discover the magic of this unique time and let yourself be enchanted by the Andalusian spirit that resonates in every corner.

A typical week? It all depends on what you like and what you wish to do.
For a tourist stay, I can help you organize your excursions and even do some with you.
Every morning, I take a walk with my dog through the city. It's an opportunity to discover the viewpoints of Gibralfaro and the little squirrels that inhabit it. On Saturday (market day), I will take you for brunch in the old fishing district along these lovely coves. We will also explore the famous Atarazanas market and the old town.
For plant lovers, we can also discover the historical botanical garden and its fabulous specimens collected from around the world.
Many other excursions are possible (sometimes with additional costs). The residence has 2 beautiful swimming pools (open depending on the season). The beaches line the city and are pleasant in all seasons.
Tell me what you like, and we will build a program based on that.
The afternoons are free for you, as I work remotely.
For a more academic learning goal, the Picasso Language Institute will help you with Spanish. With their courses, you can prepare for an exam, deepen your knowledge in business, medical, or legal Spanish. You can also explore general culture or literature.
Courses generally take place in small groups of 5 or 6 people. They are held Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Pascale is a kind and caring person. I came to stay with her for four weeks but had to cut my journey short due to family issues back home. She was considerate of my feelings and helped me enjoy my time in Malaga to the best of my ability. Her cooking is delicious, and her home is extremely comfortable, clean, and relaxing with magnificent views of the Mediterranean. Malaga is a remarkably interesting city to visit. I can 100% recommend a visit here and staying with Pascal and her dog, Blue. Thank you Pascal.
