London (Big Ben, Buckingham palace, tower bridge, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Hamley toy store).
Brighton - the lanes, Brighton pavilion palace, Brighton palace pier, i360 and amazing shopping and culture.
Portsmouth Shipyard Docks - historic ships, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and Mary-Rose. Outle shopping (also primarily) museum etc.
Southampton and the New Forest - fabulous shops, walks in the forest amongst free roaming horses and panties, a visit to beaulieu motor museum for motor car fans! Then a trip to Lymington port village for cakes by the waterside and watch the ships come in.

Hello 😁, from Samantha-Jayne and family - we have hosted foreign students for over 7 years. We live near the BEACH in Bognor Regis. We will stay with you all the time. Always at home as this is our work. We always communicate on What's App with your family and send them photos each day. We are open all year. We love meeting new students and people from all over the world! We have a large family home with student guest rooms and can take individuals, or a family. We have a gym and swimming pool within a 5min walk, also yoga and tennis.
We live on the South Coast of England by the sea and are within a 1.5hr train ride to London, 30mins to Portsmouth and 45 mins to Southampton or Brighton.
(For this reason Please ONLY book arrivals or Departures for your child between 10am-4pm only). We use trains and car for transport or walk locally. We also have cycles.
We have 4 boys aged 11-20, 3 lovely dogs (2 sausage dogs and a cockerpoo) and a cat. We live a 5 min walk to the beach!
We are very experienced at tours and visits, so can take you as many places as you would like to go! London- Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, LEICESTER SQUARE, tower bridge, Covent Garden etc, Brighton, Harry Potter studio tours (must be pre-booked months ahead for this), Navy Boats museum, Spinnaker tower etc. We teach English lessons and each student goes home with a folder of what they have done. We give daily updates and photos to parents via what's app. We are English and speak English as primary language. We have strict rules of ONLY English speaking while with us, but obviously help out where needed! ❤️😁
We offer free walking tours! 😊 This includes trips to London, Brighton, and Portsmouth, including Portsmouth Docks entry. Weather permitting. Swimming and crazy golf. If you want to go into paid attractions like Tower Bridge, these would need to be paid for. We have bunk beds, and your child may need to share a room.
We are very popular and get a lot of enquiries, so please book early. We have strict rules about ONLY speaking English when staying with us, so students learn as much as possible. ☺️
We include 1 hour of table lessons per day but learn throughout the day with conversation. My son and I are both qualified teachers, TEFL.♥️👍
We will take your child to visit at least 3 places a week; all the tours are free. The only cost would be a meal out if wanted once a week, which we recommend to see the British culture, like an English breakfast. Also, if you wanted to pay to go into an attraction such as the Tower of London. But these are both optional.
We provide packed lunch when out, home-cooked meals in the evening, and breakfast of cereal, toast, yogurt, and fruits. On Sundays, we have breakfast pancakes 🥞.
We can only accept arrivals from Eurostar at St. Pancras, London Gatwick, Southampton, or Portsmouth. Our cost to collect your child and return, from these is £95-£99 if in London. Portsmouth £60. Southampton £80.
PLEASE NOTE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES MUST BE BETWEEN 11 AM AND 4 PM ONLY.

We can take you on a trip locally and out with us as a family; we also run tours and visits, so you can be sure to go to the best places! We supply 3 meals a day plus snacks and drinks available. Students will need to pay for meals out, drinks, and ice creams etc. We take you to the beach, walks with the dogs, and eat with you. We have a good garden with a deck and swing seats. We eat healthy plant-based and vegetarian foods. I have 4 boys aged 11, 15, 17, and 19 at home. We have shops and cafes, all within a 5min walk. The village is a 5min walk. Tennis courts on the beach and bowling - sports center and swimming pool 10mins walk. Weather permitting. The main big town is around a 10 min walk, there are large parks near us too, and the train station is about a 15 mins walk. Buses go from the end of our road. We have a 7-seater car so we all go out together. We take students from any age, and also small families. The university is a 5min walk from us too for long-stay students. We are open all year round.
You are welcome to our home and can use any part of it, join in with our family as much as you like, or be on your own if you wish sometimes. We have free Wi-Fi, Prime Video, and Disney channels. We have great shopping a short trip in the car and also beaches, parks, and forests nearby. We include some great trips during your stay, all inclusive.
We can collect you from Eurostar, train station, or the Portsmouth or Southampton ferry, or Gatwick airport (10-4pm only). We will stay with you all the time, communicate on WhatsApp with your family and send them photos. We are very friendly and want you to feel very happy whilst staying with us. Notre fils revient enchanté.Samantha est bienveillante, disponible.Ses enfants sont accueillants et notre fils a pu trouver sa place facilement.Les activités sont nombreuses et variées.Les enfants sont mis a contribution pour préparer certains repas ce que personnellement nous trouvons formidable.Le lieu de vie est parfait.Franchement,nous recommandons cette famille.Meme leurs chiens sont adorables !
Mon fils Martin a passé un bon séjour chez Samantha. Visite de Londres, de châteaux, cinéma, golf … Bon contact avec les autres enfants… Nous recommandons. Merci Samantha!
Ma fille Lou a passé 6 petits jours chez Samantha, mais cela a suffi pour qu'elle quitte la famille avec le coeur gros ! Samantha a été aux petits soins et m'a spontanément envoyé des nouvelles et des photos quotidiennement. Elle a emmené Lou pour différentes visites à Londres, Chichester, Portsmouth etc. Elle lui a fait pratiquer l'anglais écrit et oral en l'intégrant complètement à la famille, ce qui a été très facile avec ses 4 fils, tous très gentils également avec Lou. Et Samantha s'est montrée très réactive et protectrice lorsqu'un problème imprévu est survenu. Ma fille est décidée à y retourner ! Merci pour tout Samantha -Jayne ;)
Je suis restée 10 jours avec cette adorable famille, ils ont pris soin de m’accueillir dans leur quotidien. J’ai pu visiter Londres, Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth et leur petit village Bognor Regis. C’était pour moi une expérience incroyable que j’aurai aimé continuer, j’ai pu améliorer mon anglais et partager de super moments avec eux. Je vous conseille vivement cette expérience avec la famille de Samantha-Jayne et Christian ainsi que leurs enfants !
Mon fils de 15 ans a passé 12 jours chez Samantha et il a beaucoup apprécié l'expérience. Cours collectifs d'anglais les matins, ludiques et intéressants - ce qui n'est pas évident avec des adolescents -, vie de famille en anglais, jeux et activités de groupe certains après-midis, balades à Londres, Chichester, Portsmouth... Samantha et sa famille sont très chaleureux et prévenants. Il s'agissait du premier voyage en solo de mon fils et il a été tout de suite mis en confiance. Samantha l'a récupéré et déposé à l'aéroport, elle nous a donné des nouvelles journalières pour nous rassurer sur le bon déroulement du séjour, bref, elle s'est occupé de mon fils comme d'un des siens. Je recommande vivement cette expérience.
Bonjour à tous, Je tiens à vous partager mon expérience dans cette famille. Alors voilà, je suis parti durant 2 semaines dans leur famille et honnêtement, je ne savais pas comment ça allait se passer vu que c'était la première fois que je faisais un voyage linguistique. Mais quand je suis arrivé ils ont tous été très chaleureux avec moi. Durant ces deux semaines on a fait un grand nombre d'activités et je peux vous dire que je ne me suis pas ennuyé. J'ai aussi énormément progressé en anglais, en très peu de temps. Bref si vous cherchez une famille chaleureuse, bienveillante, sympathique et attachante je pense qu'ils sont les mieux placés.
