Welcome to Silvia
Hello, we are a family of 4 members, I am Silvia, I am an architect and work in administration, my husband, Joan, is also an architect and works in education. We have two children, the eldest, Joan, studies philosophy at the University of Girona, he currently does not live at home but comes often, and the youngest, Eric, studies Chemistry at the University of Barcelona. We live in a house with a garden and a pool in the village of La Roca del Vallès, in Barcelona. We are quite homebodies but we really enjoy walking, both in the countryside and in the city. We like board games, gatherings with friends, and traveling, especially by car to explore new towns and cities. We love to welcome young people into our family and teach them about our culture as well as our country.
A typical weekend day we get up early, around 8, have a leisurely breakfast of coffee and toast, or on some Sundays we eat pancakes, we tidy up the house a bit and take the opportunity to read, go for a walk, shop, or go to the gym. In summer we can swim in the pool and have a snack in the garden. We always have lunch together whenever we can, just like dinner; these are two activities we always do as a family. In the afternoon, if it's hot, we watch a movie, and when it’s not so hot, we can resume outdoor activities. We also play board games, which we really enjoy. Sometimes we meet up with friends for dinner, or go out for drinks. During the week, we all work or study, and in our free time, we do our activities like going to the gym or studying.
