Welcome to Donna's home

Hi everyone, My name is Donna I live here in Donegal , with my three kids aged 11,9 and 5. I am hosting for two years. We live in a beautiful, picturesque area of Ireland, Donegal.

I can host siblings or friends but English has to be spoken at all times.

We live in a spacious, modern-style country house. My property covers an area of 1 acre, including a large garden and a garden seated area. The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and several common areas. There is a bus stop located 1.5 km away from our home, and the nearest town is 5 km away.
The city of Derry is a 30 minute drive.

Your Irish immersion experience :
A typical day with us

Each morning we will have breakfast together, followed by 1.5 to 2 hours of English lessons.
The lessons will be both oral and written English.
Depending on the age of the child and level of English they have , we will follow up the morning lessons with homework in the evening time.

On 2 out of the 7 days we will go on day trips around Donegal to various locations, sightseeing and enjoying Donegal.

The student will be offered to attend one evening Art camp ( 1hour) and one evening video game camp (2 hours) every week for free. The video game camp is age 10+.
The student will be able to mix with lots of kids their age in a supervised setting.

The student will be able to play various board games every night with the family.

There are also football or basketball, or skate parks near by.
There are beautiful walks and also beach walks near our home.

All our meals are home cooked and vary from day to day. Sometimes we also get takeaways at the weekend.

We love watching movies on Netflix, Disney or Prime TV , and sometimes go to the cinema.
