Welcome to Tracey's home with Family of 4
We are a family of 4, Mum, Dad, Daughter 13, Son 10.
We live in a small country village adjacent to the local Comprehensive School. We are very close.
We moved to the country from the city 6 years ago.
We hosted a Spanish student (15 yrs) for the academic year Sept 23 to May 24. She became a part of our family and I built a relationship with her mum. (reference from Student mum available)
Our student guest will be immersed into family life like my own children.. will do chores like my children.. will feel loved and secure.. it is important that we treat our guest as I would like my daughter to be treated by another family. When we visit family and friends our guest will come too.
We have a double room but we only take 1 guest. It is important that our guest feels a part of our family.
We had a Spanish student (15yr girl) through an agency for the academic year Sept 23 to May 24.. We built a relationship with her and her parents.
This varies depending on the time of the year.
We try to do things as a family when we can. If the student attends school in our comprehensive school we are a 3 min walk to the school.
We live in a small housing estate in a country village.
The shop and park are in walking distance.
I am writing to sincerely recommend Tracey family who welcomed my daughter Sara into their home for 9 months. As Sara's parents, we could not be more grateful for the positive and rewarding experience this family has provided for our child. From the moment they started welcoming our daughter, we have seen how they have a safe, warm and caring environment. They have not only provided our a comfortable place for our daughter to live, but they also made sure to integrate her into their family life and daily routine, which has allowed our daughter to flourish. into their family life and daily routine, which has been an incredibly personal and cultural experience for her. Tracey has always cared about our daughter's wellbeing and has always been accessible and communicative, keeping us informed of her progress, needs and happiness. Although David spent less time at home, he was very kind and loving to our daughter, and equally concerned for her welfare. He was also very detailed with Sara, like buying her Spanish ham for her lunch! Sara also misses the children with whom she got on very well and with whom she still keeps in touch. They are both very good children. Finally, their openness and respectful attitude towards different cultures and customs made our daughter feel accepted and valued. Living with them has enabled her to develop new skills, learn new perspectives and feel part of a family that genuinely cares about her well-being. For all these reasons, I have no doubt that the Tracey family is an exceptional family that provides a safe and welcoming environment for any young person or student lucky enough to be placed with them.
