Welcome to our house 😊
We are a family of 5. My husband, Jeremy, and I, Julie, and our 3 children: Élise, 14 years old, Clémence, 13 years old, and Louis, 11 years old.
We live in the heart of downtown Tours, a very beautiful city in the Loire Valley and its castles (Chambord, Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise...). We can do everything on foot from our home (grocery shopping, going to the movies, taking walks, activities...).
We love family life and sharing, art, music, walks, museums, movies, etc.
Our eldest daughter, cheerful and sociable, plays the cello, likes biking and camping in nature. Our second daughter, welcoming and warm, enjoys drawing, cooking, chatting, going to the movies, etc. She practices a martial art.
Our son, curious and full of life, loves science, rugby, animals, water sports, etc.
We have lived in the US and we also speak English, which can be helpful in the first few days.
We have a room available for our guest. We can accommodate sisters.
During the holidays, wake-up time is between 8am and 10am, at everyone's own pace. We have breakfast together once everyone is awake. Twice a week, we have a traditional breakfast with croissants, pain au chocolat, baguette...
We can then play board games as a family, do crafts, visit a castle, stroll along the Loire riverbanks, go to the cinema, etc.
But everyone can also pursue their own activities during the day under adult supervision, children play together and we gather for all meals and main activities. We also enjoy eating an ice cream while taking a walk along the Loire river or going to Simon Island to play ping pong or at the skate park.
