Meet your host family: Frederic in France

Welcome to Fred and Jess' home with their children ;)

We are a French family from the South of France. We have 2 teenage boys aged 13 and 16, a cat, and 2 chickens. ;)
We live in a house in the countryside, close to Nice, situated between the sea and the mountains. ;)
30 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea (Nice, Promenade des Anglais) and 30 minutes from the mountains and ski resorts (Isola 2000, Auron...).
We enjoy spending time at home and in the garden as a family: playing foosball, ping pong, swimming, gardening, taking care of our chickens, having a barbecue in our summer kitchen, and exploring the surroundings. The kids are very athletic!
There is a tennis club 10 minutes from the house.
Tutoring and French language learning can be provided by a teacher (holding a university degree, Master 2), a pedagogical and caring teacher!
We are accustomed to hosting students from all nationalities.

Garden of 2000 m2 and quiet pool, in the countryside close to villages in the hinterland of Nice...30 minutes from Nice...Cars, bikes and buses available ;) We are "between sea and mountains", the slogan of our large village! A calm and peaceful place but also close to Nice, the Old Town and large shopping centers if needed (Cap 3000 and Polygone Riviera) for those who want some action 30 minutes from home ;)

Merci beaucoup à Frédéric, Jessica, Aaron et Evann pour m'avoir accueillie récemment dans votre charmante maison près de Nice à la campagne. J’ai passé une semaine vraiment merveilleuse car j'ai eu l’opportunité de parler français toute la semaine et d'explorer la belle région. C’était vraiment une immersion complète en français et grâce à cela je sais que j’ai appris beaucoup de nouveaux mots en Français 😊. Toute la famille est très gentille, patiente et je me suis sentie très confortable pendant tout la durée de mon séjour. En particulier, j'ai beaucoup apprécié que nous avons mangé le dîner ensemble tous les jours, car nous parlions beaucoup de notre journée. Aussi j’ai aimé quand nos avons visité le village de Levens qui est très beau. Les cours de Français avec Frédéric ont été très utiles car j'ai pratiqué l'écriture et les exercices qu'il proposait étaient toujours très bons pour travailler la grammaire. Frédéric est un professeur très patient et il trouvait toujours une nouvelle façon d'expliquer si je ne comprenais pas la première fois. Je suis très heureuse d'avoir séjourné chez Frédéric et Jessica et je recommande vraiment cette famille si vous voulez améliorer votre français.☺️ Lorena Valle
