Welcome to Stephen

We are the Elaine and Stephen family and we live approximately 4km outside Letterkenny Co Donegal. Our children are ages 6, 4, and 2 years.
We love to get outdoors and to explore the nearby woods, parks, and beaches. We do a trip to the cinema or swimming pool at the weekends and the children partake in soccer and swimming.

We are a welcoming family and would love to host International students for trips or academic purposes and are near three local secondary schools.
We would endeavor to make your trip as enjoyable and carefree as possible if you would choose to stay with us.

A typical day with us

We like keep active with lots of activities such as Walking/hiking, swimming, cinema, theatre, music, socialising.
We're an outdoor family and like to get out as much as possible when the weather allows us.
We're involved in the local community and with the Gaa football club which is steeped in irish culture.
We also play music and sing together as a family.
We can also go to church at the weekend if it's something you would like to do.
We are very flexible and an easy going family with so much to offer.

J'ai vécu des moments inoubliables au sein de leur famille et j'ai découvert les traditions culturelles de leur région. C'était une expérience incroyable. J'ai également eu l'opportunité de faire une semaine de bénévolat dans un Child Care Center, une expérience marquante qui m'a permis de développer de nouvelles compétences (parler anglais avec des enfants de 3 ans, c'est un vrai défi !). Je remercie chaleureusement toute la famille de Stephen pour leur accueil, ainsi que Solène de Linguifamily, qui a procédé à une présélection afin que je puisse trouver rapidement une famille d'accueil répondant à mes deux objectifs : séjour en Irlande ET bénévolat.
