Welcome to our home
**We host families and/or adult females only** We are a family of four and our Italian AuPair who is fluent in English also resides with us. Lesley is a Lawyer and Ray is a HR Consultant. Rosanna and David have are 5. Lesley and Ray work 4 days per week. Rosanna and David just are in their first year in big school and they attend many activities including Irish dancing, swimming, taekwondo, drama and GAA. They like to try their hand at Tennis and they are learning to play the keyboard too! Lesley's family run an Irish dancing school nearby.
In our spare time we like to go on family outings to parks, the beach, the city zoo, museums, Emerald Park (local theme park) and our holiday home in County Cavan.
We live in a rural setting 2km from the centre of the village of Ratoath in County Meath and only 25km from the centre of Dublin City. We are very involved in the local community of Ratoath.
We like to visit the city of Dublin most Sundays when we are not heading to our lake house in County Cavan. We have a tennis court at our home and there is a local tennis club in the village. We also have a tennis court at our lake house in Cavan.
We are very experienced hosts of students from around the world. We cater for families or adult females. Adult students will be free to come and go as they please or hang out with us as desired! English tuition can be tailored to suit the student's needs.
The is WIFI throughout or home in Ratoath and also in our lake house in Cavan.
Can host a family of 5 or 2 adult female guests at a time
Prices above are per adult. A family unit would be priced accordingly.
I can offer work experience volunteering in an office with a meet and greet element to the role.
We can pick up and drop off to Dublin Airport. Upon arrival we will show you around our home, set your devices up on WIFI and answer any questions you may have including local transport.
We will provide you with a bicycle, helmet and a high viz jacket for your own use.
Each morning we start the day with breakfast and getting ready for the day ahead. Lesley and Ray each work 4 days per week. Rosanna and David attend school during school terms and various summer camps during the school holidays.
The children attend one of their activities most days. We eat an evening meal together and discuss our day.
On Saturday morning as a family we attend our local GAA club.
We like to visit the city of Dublin most Sundays when we are not heading to our lake house in County Cavan. The children attend a drama school in the city on Sunday mornings and then we usually spend time in the city after their class.
We love heading to the tranquil setting of our lake house in Cavan.
We would describe ourselves as a busy but laid back fun family. We look forward to meeting you!
